ABOUT JCS

ABOUT JEWELL COUNTY STRONG

We are Jewell County Strong, a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed from Jewell County community members who decided it was time to take action for our community.

We realized that no one is going to come save us, but instead, we have the ability to

take actions to help save our community. Our Board of Directors is composed of long time residents and young residents alike.

Jewell County Strong was formed in 2022 with two major goals in mind, including the construction and operation of a community wellness center. Currently, there are no year-round fitness centers available to the public in all of Jewell County. We believe that our residents, young and old, deserve access to this important facility and that it will have incredible ripple effects throughout the lives of the populations we serve.
